Revista Iberoamericana de Economía Ecológica (Iberoamerican Journal of Ecological Economy)

The Ibero-American Journal of Ecological Economics, REVIBEC, is the official journal of REDIBEC, and intends to become an academic reference, due to the high scientific level of its contents and the interest of the subjects discussed, which contributes to the consolidation of the Ecological Economy as a scientific approach in the region. The Ibero-American Journal of Ecological Economics, REVIBEC, is a publication of the Ibero-American Network, REDIBEC created to publish and disseminate original works of interest to the region in terms of development and the environment. Paradoxically, the advent of new information technologies did not lead to the expected decline in inequality of access to scientific information. On the contrary, these inequalities have been exacerbated, in part thanks to the role of the publishers, who privatize the information whose generation they did not finance. In response, the Ibero-American Journal of Ecological Economics joins other initiatives that seek to democratize access to high-level academic knowledge through new computer tools.
