EE&C Best practice in energy and chemical industry EE&C Best Practice in Japan for Petrochemical Industries in Singapore
Singapore aims to reduce its Emissions Intensity by 36% from 2005 levels and to stabilise its emissions with the aim of peaking around 2030. The manufacturing sector is an important part of Singapore’s economy, and has a role to play in contributing to Singapore’s efforts to manage carbon emissions.
Improving energy efficiency in the manufacturing sector is a key strategy. We encourage companies to be lead adopters of technology to be energy efficient, as this will help companies, as well as Singapore’s economy, be more competitive in a carbon-constrained world.
