RENEWABLE ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM ACQUIRED BY SINGAPORE

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has recently acquired a renewable energy storage system. The system, along with all installation and training facilities, were bought over from Acta SpA. This is the largest single order for the producer thus far, and will be located at the Raffles Lighthouse on Singapore’s island of Pulau Satuma. The system will be used to convert unused electricity produced from solar and wind power stations to hydrogen, and produce 4 kW of power per hour through a fuel cell module using the green hydrogen.
